I am a firm believer that any company can succeed magnificiently if they are adequately funded, are willing to make changes, and have a reasonably interesting product offering. It is possible to overcome a lack of funding and a lack of interesting products. To succeed you must be willing to change!

Do you have a really cool product but not enough funding? Usually that's not a problem. Some items to consider: 

• Can you make internal changes to make funds available?
• Have you put together presentations to interest venture capital? 
• Should you license the product for someone else to produce? 

Is your company experiencing challenges because it is in a mature industry? Have you considered the following options:

• Use current assets and knowledge base to develope new revenue streams or improve existing revenue streams 
• Cost cutting with a twist: make it a combination of technology deployment, outsourcing, and headcount reductions
• Take a hard look at your existing process structure 
• Develop new products! Innovate, Innovate, Innovate
